QUIMICA (HISTORIA)

The chemical science emerged in the seventeenth century from studies of alchemy popular among many scientists of the time. It is considered that the basic principles of chemistry are collected for the first time in the work of British scientist Robert Boyle : The Skeptical Chymist (1661 ). Chemistry as such begins his gait a century later the French work of Antoine Lavoisier and discoveries of oxygen , the law of conservation of mass and refutation of the theory of as phlogiston theory of combustion.

The history of chemistry is strongly linked to development of man, as it embarks from all the transformations of material and relevant theories. Often the history of chemistry is intertwined with the history of chemical and, according to nationality or political persuasion of the author highlights a greater or lesser extent the achievements made in a particular field or a particular nation.
